Simeis 147, also known as Sh 2-240, the Taurus Lace or the Spaghetti Nebula, is a supernova remnant located approximately 1,000 to 3,000 light-years from Earth in the direction of the constellations of Taurus and the Pig.
It is one of the supernova remnants with an associated pulsar, in this case PSR J0538+2817.
With its large apparent size, the determination of its centre has long remained imprecise, leading to the object being catalogued for a time as SNR G180.0-01.7.

This is a rather faint object that is complicated to image, and in this case, for this image, the orientation of the sensor was not right by...90°... which leaves only part of the nebula visible in this image...

 

 

 

This image is composed of 40 hours of shooting with a 2600MC colour camera.
