And here we are... after a year spent photographing the wonders of the Northern Hemisphere from the magnificent sky of the Starfront Observatory in Texas, our Itex_observatory group has decided to move all its equipment to one of the darkest skies on Earth, this time starting to capture photons from the Southern Hemisphere!
In fact, our beautiful telescope is now located in the Atacama Desert . This is our first project developed together with all our members: I'm talking about the majestic Omega Centauri Globular Cluster.
Of course (for those who have been following us since the beginning), we aren't satisfied with a "simple" image, no! This time too, we decided to image the entire area of ​​ionized hydrogen that frames the cluster itself.
