The Cigar Galaxy (also known as M 82 or NGC 3034) is an active galaxy in the constellation Ursa Major; it is located about 12 million light years away and is associated with the larger and more famous M81. This is a great example of a starburst galaxy.  Crop on yesterday's image,...I gave some clarity and texture with Camera RAW to give more sharpness....
