Story:

"This is our latest collaboration with Yann. It's a 15-panel mosaic between the Cygnus and Cepheus, with comet C/2023 E1 (ATLAS) as a special guest.

This image was a great challenge for us, both in terms of acquisition and processing.
Because we wanted to shoot a bit of each tile every night, we could only get a few minutes of data per tile. 
As for processing, the field is so large that the image is distorted, which we had to try to compensate for, not to mention the processing time for an image of over 210 million pixels.
There are only about twenty minutes of exposure per panel, but thanks to the Optolong Astronomy Filter L-Extreme F2 that we were lucky enough to be able to test before its release, we were able to acquire a lot of signal quickly with the Sigma Art 135mm open at F2.
Comet C/2023 E1 (ATLAS) is at the centre of the image, and its typical green colour is well highlighted in the high concentration of alpha hydrogen in this region of the Milky Way.
Important note:
The very faint Oiii areas, such as WR134 or OU4, were added from sessions carried out with our other setups and long exposure times. The image is therefore a composition of the HOO mosaic in 5-hour exposure with Oiii zones from other projects.
