The North American Nebula (also known by the acronyms NGC 7000 and C 20) is an emission nebula visible in the constellation Swan, near Deneb (the tail of the swan and its brightest star). The shape of the nebula outlines the North American continent, especially the east coast between the Gulf of Mexico and Florida.
The North American Nebula and the nearby Pelican Nebula (IC 5070), are part of the same vast interstellar cloud of ionised hydrogen

I can say that this 3nm narrowband filter on both emissions (Ha and O3) is really impressing me in a positive way.  On the last two evenings I had the moon at 60% illuminating the sky and I did the 300" poses without being affected at all. Impressive....also the halos on the stars a bit bigger I didn't see....
I'll definitely aim for a bigger star next time and see how it behaves, but so far I'm pleased with it.  The stars remain small, this is also due to the quality of my little TS 90 Owl triplet that leaves the stars as small pins...great.
