The awesome Soul Nebula (IC1848) in the constellation of Cassiopeia! This emission nebula is 7500 light years away and measures 100 light years across. The image only shows a small part of the nebula as I used a larger telescope and cropped in on this interesting area. I love the fine details around the edges of the nebula where most of the star formation is occurring. This was shot over 2 nights using a mono camera with sulphur, hydrogen and oxygen filters.
