The Embryo Nebula - NGC1333
Located about 1,000 light-years away in the Perseus molecular cloud, NGC 1333 spans roughly 4 light-years across and teems with newborn stars still wrapped in dense dust and gas. This reflection nebula glows blue from scattered starlight, while dark filaments and faint red jets reveal regions of ongoing star formation. It’s a turbulent stellar nursery — a glimpse into what our own Sun’s birthplace might have looked like 4.6 billion years ago. I captured this nebula in one night from a dark sky location.
