Lobster Nebula (NGC 6357), located in the Scorpio Constellation, about 5900 light years from Earth.
NGC 6357 is an emission nebula, full of young star clusters and dark dust, gases and protostars within their birth disks. It is a rich star-forming region.
Stellar winds, intense magnetic fields, gravity, and radiation pressure carve complex structures in gases and dust.

 


Photo obtained using Optolong 3nm narrowband filters Hydrogen-alpha, Sulfur II and Oxygen III, combined in SHO with RGB for the stars.
Captures:

(S: 20x300s; H: 23x300s; O: 22x300s) and RGB (8x120s in each channel) for the stars.

Integration time: 5h25min.
Sky-Watcher Quattro reflector telescope 254mm in diameter,

F/4. EQ6R-Pro mount, with guidance.

ZWO ASI 2600MM Camera.
