Encountering the Starry Sky over Anji's Bamboo Sea,

L-Synergy Shines at the 7th Yangtze River Delta Star Party

Introduction

Last weekend, filled with anticipation and passion, we journeyed to Anji, Huzhou, to join astronomy enthusiasts from across the country for a three-day stellar feast—the 7th Yangtze River Delta Star Party.

The Grand Opening: Stargazers Gather at the Birthplace of "Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains"

The Yangtze River Delta Star Party is a highly influential event in China's amateur astronomy community. It is not just an equipment exhibition, but a grand gathering for astronomy enthusiasts, astrophotographers, and industry leaders.

The venue for this year's event—Anji, Huzhou—added a unique charm. As the birthplace of China's "Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains are invaluable assets" philosophy, Anji is famous for its vast bamboo forests and clear streams. By day, we immersed ourselves in the beautiful landscape. By night, the excellent air quality and minimal light pollution unveiled a remarkably pure and stunning canvas of stars.

Optolong Spotlight: The Debut of L-Synergy, Listening to Our Users

At this star-studded event, we set up a dedicated booth to showcase our new product—the Dual 7nm Narrowband Filter: L-Synergy.

This new product immediately attracted the attention of numerous seasoned astrophotographers. The L-Synergy is not an ordinary narrowband filter. It innovatively employs a Dual 7nm (SII/OIII) ultra-high precision bandwidth design, engineered to maximize the transmission of Sulfur-II (672.4nm) and Oxygen-III (500.7nm) spectral lines while aggressively blocking light pollution. This means that even from the outskirts of the city or under moonlit skies, photographers can efficiently capture the rich, faint details of emission nebulae, producing deep-sky images with exceptional contrast and vibrant colors.

L-Synergy‌ is compatible with DSLR cameras, color CMOS sensors, and CCD cameras, supporting telescope systems with F-ratio of F3.3 or above (slower system).

After years of technical refinement, it has been optimized to minimize bright star halos while isolating all emission lines except SII and OIII, achieving maximum effective transmission.

Throughout the event, our team engaged in deep and enthusiastic conversations with new friends and old who visited our booth. We carefully listened to every piece of feedback, every suggestion for improvement, and every expectation for our future products. These firsthand, genuine insights are our most valuable takeaway and will guide the core direction of our future R&D and innovation.

A Galaxy of Ideas: Exploring Industry Frontiers and a Feast of Knowledge

The exhibition hall was abuzz with leading domestic astronomical equipment manufacturers showcasing their latest R&D achievements and flagship products. From large-aperture telescopes to high-precision mounts, and from scientific-grade cameras to smart guiding systems, the array was dazzling, fully demonstrating the vibrant vitality of China's astronomical equipment industry.

Furthermore, the series of lectures meticulously arranged by the organizers were incredibly substantial, featuring renowned experts.

Well-known astrophotographers from home and abroad took the stage to share valuable experiences covering multiple fields such as "Black Holes in the Universe",  "Introduction to Astrophotography for Enthusiasts",  "Astrophotography Art in the Atacama Desert—A Stargazing Paradise",  "A Meteorite's Cosmic Drift Diary",  "Easy Remote Stargazing from Home for Beginners",  and "The Current State and Prospects of Dark Sky Protection Efforts in China".

Every lecture was packed. Like all attendees, we absorbed this wealth of knowledge, broadened our horizons, and found new inspiration for our own work.

Night Sky in Action: A Hundred Scopes Point Skyward, Painting the Galaxy

One of the most exciting aspects of the star party was the night observation and photography session. We were blessed with perfect weather—clear, cloudless skies created ideal conditions. As darkness fell, the area around the venue transformed into a massive open-air observatory. It was a spectacular sight, with telescopes and imaging equipment of all kinds set up everywhere, from portable trackers to professional rigs, forming a unique landscape under the stars.

Enthusiasts were intently calibrating their gear or gathered in small groups to discuss shooting parameters; the air was electric with a shared passion for the cosmos.

Conclusion:

The 7th Yangtze River Delta Star Party has concluded, but our journey to explore the cosmos never ends. We extend our sincere thanks to the organizers and to every friend who visited our booth and shared their thoughts with us.

Through these direct conversations, we are more committed than ever to our philosophy of being "user-centric".

The starry ocean awaits, and our journey continues.

Armed with the inspiration drawn from the bamboo sea of Anji and all the valuable user feedback, we will continue to delve deeper into the field of astronomical optics. We look forward to partnering with you, using our ever-improving products, to capture the next breathtaking wonders of the universe together!
