This photo, taken during the fourth Southern Italy Star Party, captures the central area of the large nebula NGC 7822 (also called Question Mark or Teddy Bear), located in the constellation Cepheus and 2,900 light-years from our solar system.
At the top right, we can see the young star cluster Berkeley 59.
For the colors, I used the well-known "Hubble" palette, which associates ionized sulfur with the red channel, ionized hydrogen with the green channel, and doubly ionized oxygen with the blue channel. The stars appear magenta as a natural result of this combination and were not processed separately.
