Back from Namibia – and here is my first finished image.
It shows the Eta Carinae Nebula (NGC 3372), one of the largest and most active star-forming regions in our Milky Way. It is located around 7,500 light-years from Earth in the constellation Carina (the keel of the ship).
Unfortunately, this fascinating object is not visible from Europe, as it lies far to the south in the night sky. Under the exceptionally dark skies of Namibia, I was finally able to photograph this impressive celestial object.
Equipment:
Imaging Telescope: Askar SQA60 Pro
Camera: ASI2600MC Air
Mount: SW Wave 150i

Hope you like it.
