The 16th. Yunnan Roadside Astronomy Night
Stop walking, looking at the stars
The 16th. Yunnan Roadside Astronomy Night was held from 16:00 to 22:00 on April 24th., 2021 (the 13th. lunar month) at Haigeng Dam, Xishan District, Kunming.
This even was mainly to spread popularization of science and astronomy.
Optolong was there.
Astronomy hobby starts with a child, lol...
From telescopes, you was going to see the radar station clearly on the top of Western Mountain; sunspots absolutely.
One of volunteers from Yunnan Astronomers Association was talking about the know-how to citizens.
Thousands of people were interested in what “mysterious planet”...

“SPACE OF DAY OF CHINA” event and the China Aerospace Conference 2021 kicked off at Jiangsu Nanjing on April 24th. 2021.
Starry skies full of the brightest imagination of mankind.
Space is the real career that makes life better.
The Needle galaxy (catalog NGC 4565) can be identified and observed (with a good telescope) in the constellation Coma Berenices. It is about 50 million light years away from our solar system and looks perfectly cut to us, reminiscent of a needle with a bulge in the center.
The dimensions are very similar to those of our galaxy and some studies of the bulge would confirm the hypothesis that it is a barred spiral galaxy.
In the photograph you can also see other more distant galaxies, the most evident of which is NGC 4562 64 million light years away while among the most evanescent galaxies we can see the irregular galaxy IC 3571 (a small spot below the Needle) which is 60 million light years away. light years.
The shots were taken in Taranto (Italy), on April 10, 2021, under a Bortle 9 sky.

The Andromeda Nebula is a barred spiral galaxy approximately 2.5 million light-years from Earth and is our nearest neighbor galaxy. The number of stars contained in the Andromeda Galaxy is estimated at one trillion or roughly twice the number estimated in our Milky Way.
